From the desk of President Billy

President Billy truly showed his Irish side and gave a lengthy speech to address his THIRD TERM and how much he loves our club. He'd have to don't you think? If you were there, you definitely felt the love and humor, he had something to say about everyone. It was such a long speech we all had to sit down. Maybe he thought if he spoke long enough someone else would volunteer to be president.
Give it some thought -- if you haven't stepped up to serve your Rotary club then start by joining the board. If you're on the board, then seriously consider "moving up the chairs" as we used to say. It was a regular thing, you know, members joined the board and then served in all the positions. Rotary is a team sport.

I told you there was a long speech

Outgoing Secretary Patty Zip installed Billy and then he did the honors for new Secretary Peggy Jayne as well as treasurer-for-life Jim Hulme.

Vice President Marie McAlary wasn't able to attend this event, Billy will be sure to get her sworn in soon.

Past President Tom Otis was invited to say a few words.
he didn't outlast Billy but it was close. Tom's father was our club's charter president in 1953. And did you know that Tom has served more than one term as club president? Think about stepping up.
Yours truly had the honor of inducting our newest member, Dr. Cece Cunningham.

I had some fun and ran the club through the 4 Way Test and asked them to support our newest member. No swearing, I swear.

Some great photos from Patty Zip. You'll find an album with these and more on our club website. Right side, scroll down.
