Meeting speaker was Kevin Mann, Rocky Point Rotary Past President and one of the original founders of the Jerusha Mwiraria Hope Children's Fund.
Incorporated in 2003, Hope Children's Fund is a NY State licensed 501(c)3 that provides for the physical and emotional needs of some of the most vulnerable AIDS affected orphans in Meru, Kenya.
He will be leading a mission trip to Meru, Kenya in February 2026.
March 14, 2026 is the date of the 8th Annual Passion for Education Gala which has chosen Hope Children's Fund as beneficiary this year.

We enjoyed a followup visit from RYLA student Grady Schultz. He's entering his senior year at Westhampton Beach High School and looking forward to the year ahead.
RYLA, the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, is a global Rotary program offering intensive leadership training camps for young people to develop leadership skills through interactive experiences, community service, and personal growth.

Food Pantry Fundraiser Dinner will be Saturday, November 8th.
The committee meeting is Tuesday, Sept. 2nd at 5:15 pm in Our Lady's Hall - the white building directly behind Immaculate Conception Church. Kiwanis is leading the event this year with our Knights of Columbus partners. Please consider joining the committee -- it will be our turn to lead the event in two short years.
