Wishing all a Happy New Year! And now it's back to doing what we do for our community.
President Billy NEEDS YOU!
Spaghetti Dinner is one of our long-time events and a great opportunity to serve the community. VP Peggy Jayne has been hard at work organizing -- you may have found tickets hand-delivered to your mailbox. Please make every effort to promote the event to your friends and neighbors.
Check out the calendar on the right and on our website -- the Spaghetti Dinner event has a downloadable form for the placemat sponsor request. If you haven't forwarded to your contacts, please do so.
The Club dinner meeting on Tuesday, January 23rd will include our re-scheduled speaker from the snow-canceled meeting. Marie McAlary is hosting our speaker, Adam Birkenstock, LCSW, Director of Programming at LICADD (Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence). He will discuss alcohol and drug addiction treatments including Narcan training. What a great way to start off the new year!
The rest of the meeting will be ALL ABOUT US! Along with making sure the Spaghetti Dinner is on track, President Billy wants you to bring your ideas and suggestions for our club.
Know anyone interested in Rotary? Who can YOU bring as a guest?
Aimee Martin is always looking for speakers for the meetings - you should have received an email from her recently to remind you of your date. Please provide Aimee with your chosen speaker info.
Be sure to let President Billy know how you'd like to get involved, he's always happy to have a hand.
