Aug 13 meeting:
President Billy kicked off Tuesday evening with a board meeting before the regular dinner meeting. Along with high expectations for this year he's looking for input from any and all members. We are a "Wide Open" Rotary Club.
Tuesday evening speakers were Alex Sulca the Outreach Coordinator for Sepa Mujer and co-worker Diane Linares. They shared info about human and sex trafficking problems on the East End of Long Island. Rotarian Don Kehoe arranged for the program.

The Food Pantry Fundraiser Dinner is Saturday, October 26th. We partner with the Knights of Columbus and the Westhampton Kiwanis to produce this event to support the local Food Pantry. This Food Pantry provides not only food but toiletries, diapers, and the like to those in need in our community. Club collaboration like this is unique, and productive.
We have Erin from Sydney's Taylor Made Cuisine providing the delicious dinner, with SHOCK ice cream to follow. Be sure to thank these local businesses for their generosity.
The Herb Phillips Memorial Golf Outing (this event funds the scholarships we provide to local students) is set for Tuesday, October 29th. Brochures are attached to the calendar -- go to our website, click on either the events on the right or the calendar, and scroll to the outing event. You can download/print or forward in email to your friends/contacts. We need sponsors and golfers!
Aimee Martin is looking for guest speakers, you will soon see a schedule published with your assigned date. She's got great ideas but it will be your responsibility to find a speaker and bring them to dinner. Keeps things interesting and President Billy sitting down, ya know?
