President Billy held a warm dinner meeting on Feb 27th
Be sure to check the calendar (side bar here and on the website) for upcoming events. Look for our own Patty Ziparo-Dalton, Grand Marshal, leading the Westhampton St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 9th.
The program from the Shinnecock Kelp Farmers was terrific. Two of the women from the Shinnecock Indian Nation, working a traditional relationship with the sea and with seaweed. Sugar kelp is raised even during the winter months!

Congratulations to long-time Rotarian Jim Hulme for receiving a Paul Harris Fellow recognition from Club President Bill Dalton at the recent Westhampton Rotary Club’s meeting.

The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation. Further recognition with Paul Harris pins including sapphires and then rubies are given for subsequent $1000 donations.
Rotary established the recognition in 1957 to encourage and show appreciation for substantial contributions to what was then the Foundation’s only program, Rotary Foundation Fellowships for Advanced Study, the precursor to Ambassadorial Scholarships.
Donations to the Rotary Foundation can be made online at https://my.rotary.org/en in any amount. Set up your own "My Rotary" and learn all about Rotary as well as the Rotary Foundation. The Rotary Foundation funds are used all over the world; Rotary's work to eliminate Polio is just one. Those funds can come back to us locally through District Grants -- our club has leveraged several grants with our donations to Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck as one great example. Our club has also partnered with other clubs to further leverage grants.
Our club has a number of Paul Harris Fellows -- take a guess at how many -- we'll give you the answer in the next bulletin!
Be sure to take a look at our calendar for your next service opportunity, Peggy Jayne will be leading road cleanup on March 16th.
Our next fundraiser will be on Saturday, April 6th, an Evening with Psychic Josephine Ghiringhelli. We are partnering with the WHB Performing Arts Center for this event but counting on all members to help spread the word, ask for sponsors, and direct ticket sales to the PAC.
Please find the sponsor letter lower on the newsletter as well as attached to the event calendar. Consider sponsoring or solicit sponsors -- share it with your contacts.

Maureen's Haven Assist Needed for April 15th
This just in from Liz Lederer:
I cannot make the April 15 Maureen's Haven. I would like to see if anyone can take over for this on 4/15 for me, please. I will work to make sure we have volunteer there and fill this signup sheet.
Whoever does take my place, I can drop off my bag that has some staples that I bring each week like salt, pepper, mustard, mayo, napkins. lunch bags and sandwich bags.
BTW Peggy those lunch bags were awesome, if you have more. Perfect size to fit everything. Tonino's Pizza will be our dinner sponsor for April 15th Dinner will be ready for pickup at 4:30. He will provide bread, salad and an entree for the 10 residents.
Be sure to let President Billy know how you'd like to get involved, he's always happy to have a hand.
